Our Mission

Building a practice and learning more about what our clients are looking for

I’m Jessica Myszak, PhD, a clinical psychologist — and this directory grew out of listening to the people searching for specialized evaluations.

I’ve practiced for over 15 years in multiple states, completing psychological evaluations in forensic psychology, Veterans’ C&P and state disability evaluations, pre-adoption evaluations, and private evaluations, and advocating for my clients’ needs. After 10 years working for others, I started my own practice in a new state in late 2019. With the onset of COVID and the boom of social media, I began navigating digital marketing to get my practice in front of those I wanted to help.

Like countless psychologists, I invested heavily in trainings, marketing strategies, and resources focused on networking and visibility. Yet during the shutdowns—and even in the years that followed—many traditional ways of connecting with clients simply weren’t available. Looking for a better way to connect with the people I could genuinely help, I took an unconventional step and joined TikTok.

What I learned from social media, as both a provider and a mother of three who understands the commitment behind running a household, drop-offs to Girl Scouts, basketball, dance, and playdates, was an eye-opener.

Listening and connecting with clients
The process of seeking an evaluation isn’t easy — and it doesn’t start when a client schedules an appointment.

It begins earlier—when the parent, client, or loved one starts researching online what they should do to get an evaluation, or what’s required to get the accommodations or support they need.

75,000+ Followers reached with client education

When I began truly listening, I heard frustration — and made some realizations

This information gave me direction on how I could help others, and I began offering education on social media about what to expect during psychological evaluations and how to advocate for their needs. To date, I’ve built a collective online presence that reaches more than 75,000 followers, where I offer client education on how to match with the right psychologist for their evaluation needs.

  • Clients spend hours researching what is needed for an evaluation before making a call.

  • Multiple calls are made to find a provider, and many times they’re redirected because the provider doesn’t offer the evaluation they need, there’s a long waiting list, or they don’t take the same kind of insurance.

  • Sometimes the provider’s setup wasn’t a good match for the special needs of a child or loved one.

Why We Built This Directory

Our mission is to simplify finding specialized care with the right psychological evaluator. We created this directory because too many clients struggle to find the right psychological evaluator for their specific needs. Many people feel overwhelmed by endless searches, mismatched referrals, rushed appointments, and uncertainty about what to do after receiving a diagnosis.

It should be easier for clients to find licensed psychologists or other evaluators who specialize in the testing and evaluations they need, so they can spend less time searching and more time getting answers and support.

How has this directory made it easier to find a psychological evaluator for you?

Built around how clients actually search

  • Verified psychologists Credentials are verified before profiles are shared.
  • Peer-to-peer referrals You can see peer-to-peer referrals posted on psychologist profiles, since mental health providers don’t solicit feedback directly from patients.
  • Common questions are searchable e.g., what insurance you take, whether there’s a waitlist, what languages you speak, and what evaluations you provide are all searchable in one place.
  • Availability by state and location Changes in state licensing and regulations have opened up which psychologists can see you in your state.
  • Searches focused on evaluations only Psychologists may also provide therapy, but the directory is searchable by psychological evaluations only.
  • FAQs section We aim to address the biggest questions you have when searching for an evaluation.
  • Client education Whether on-site via the FAQs section or on social media, we discuss what to expect and what questions to ask, helping educate our clients.

This platform was designed to create a more personal and thoughtful connection between clients and psychological evaluators. By highlighting specialties, evaluation services, and practice approaches, we help clients find psychologists who are the right fit, while also helping smaller practices connect with the people they’re best equipped to serve.

At its core, this directory exists to make finding quality psychological care feel more human, clear, and supportive.

Always Free for Clients

Finding the right psychologist should feel simple, accessible, and stress-free. That’s why our directory and search tools are completely free for clients to use.

There is no account to create, no membership required, and no login needed to search for psychologists. Clients can freely explore the directory, review psychologist profiles, and connect with providers who match their needs. Only psychologists join the directory—clients simply use the search experience to find the right fit for their care.
