Psychologist – Join the Directory

As a psychologist, I built my practice during the challenges of COVID. Like many of you, I dove into trainings and read countless resources on how to connect with potential clients. The advice always emphasized networking and visibility—but during the shutdowns and the years that followed, those strategies felt almost impossible to implement.

When PSYPACT went live, I was among the first to apply. I knew I had the skills to help clients across state lines, but there was a major obstacle: clients couldn’t find me. I joined a few online directories, but they didn’t align with what my practice could provide with testing and evaluations. The leads I received reflected that mismatch, and I felt frustrated, as leads fell through and the people I could help couldn’t connect with me.

After some soul-searching, I took an unconventional step: I joined TikTok. It was nerve-wracking, but it worked. My presence there helped potential clients understand who I was and what I offered, and it allowed me to grow my practice across state lines.

What I learned from this unconventional step, is that there is a gap for Clients to find the right Psychologist whose practice could make a difference in their life. The process for Clients to find the right psychologist included hours of searching, lots of phone calls to multiple providers, with the psychologist filtering phone calls of people they may not be able to help with what their practice focuses on.

This directory builds a bridge from mismatched leads by providing a simple way to guide the right Clients into your clinics, so that you can focus on what we are trained to do, to help people. That’s why I created this directory—to bridge the gap between psychologists and the people they’re uniquely equipped to help
